Open Question: If I claim a dependent, am I responsible for their debt?

My boyfriend owes back child support in Oklahoma, and the past two years he didn't receive his tax refund because it went toward that. He has suffered lots of medical problems recently, and didn't work at all in 2011. I paid for everything for a year, and I am contemplating claiming him as a dependent on my taxes.
